Description:Argents Express Group is a security, safety, and service driven logistics provider offering all modes of U.S. domestic and international shipping services and customs brokerage. Argents was founded 30 years ago; since that time, we have steadily expanded and now have offices in several key U.S. markets and partners in more than 100 countries. We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our customer service and operations team in our CHS (Mt. Pleasant, SC) office. The ideal candidate will have export freight forwarding experience.
Duties:Responsibilities include: • Processing air and ocean export documentation • Complete AES filings • Performing compliance checks • Prepare pre-alerts for overseas agents • Assembling documentation packs for clients • Communicating with customers regarding shipments • Booking of shipments with vendors • Confirming movement (track and trace) • Issuing of our invoice
Qualifications:• Fanatical customer service and communication skills • High attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and manage time • Capable of understanding and following customer specific instructions • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Detailed organization capabilities and a desire and ability to follow projects through to completion • The ability to care for our customers and take positive actions for their benefit • Basic knowledge of geography • Bachelor degree preferred • Secondary languages rewarded • Industry certifications rewarded (i.e. HAZMAT, CCS) • Clear TSA Security Threat Assessment -- mandatory
