Description:	Argents Express Group is a security, safety, and service-driven logistics provider offering all modes of U.S. domestic and international shipping services and customs brokerage. Argents was founded 30 years ago; since that time, we have steadily expanded and now have offices in several key U.S. markets and partners in more than 100 countries. We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our outside sales team in our JFK (Inwood, NY) office. The ideal candidate will have import & export freight forwarding experience, customs house brokerage experience, and inside/outside sales experience.
Duties:	Immediately step into a sales support role while training for a regional sales position. Responsibilities of sales support will include training, preparing quotations, inside sales, generating leads, setting appointments, phone sales, sales data entry, and customer service. Argents is in need of a self-motivated and proactive candidate that is willing to take on new responsibilities as they come. The short term goal of this candidate would be to take on an outside sales position for B2B logistics sales in the metro/regional market.
Qualifications:	• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Interest in and comfort with working with other countries and cultures • Experience with customer service and understanding of sales • Positive attitude and a desire to learn • Ability to multi-task and manage time • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Detailed organization capabilities and a desire and ability to follow projects through to completion Bachelor degree preferred Secondary languages rewarded Industry certifications rewarded (i.e. HAZMAT, CCS) Clear TSA Security Threat Assessment (Required) Clear DOT Driving Record (Required)
